STRATFORD – Colten Schillinger went 4-for-4, and Kale Weisenberger and Cam Daul combined on a three-hit shutout as the Stratford baseball team maintained its lead on top of the Marawood Conference South Division standings with a 6-0 win over Auburndale on Tuesday at the Tiger Stadium Baseball Field.
Stratford had 10 hits, four from Schillinger, who had two singles, two doubles and an RBI.
Gavin Kirsch added two hits, and Max Vanderhoof, Jackson Ormond and Dillon Kirsch all added RBIs in the win for the Tigers, who are now 14-1 overall and 8-1 in the Marawood South.
Weisenberger allowed two hits in six shutout innings, striking out five. Cam Daul finished off the shutout by striking out the side in the top of the seventh, giving up one hit.
