SPENCER – Neillsville erupted with a 10-run fourth inning to put away Spencer 17-3 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball game Tuesday at Spencer High School.
The game ended after five innings due to the 10-run rule.
Drew Brown had three hits, and Braden Trunkel, Michah Zoschke and Santana Subke each had three RBIs for Neillsville, which remains in first place in the Cloverbelt East at 7-1 (8-2 overall).
Chase Higgins had a hit and two RBIs for Spencer, which falls to 3-9 and 3-7 in conference play.
Neillsville is at Marshfield Columbus Catholic on Wednesday and Spencer will play the Dons at Jack Hackman Field in Marshfield on Thursday.
