MARATHON – Marshfield’s Graydon Anderson tied for fourth place as the Tigers finished fourth at the Wisconsin Valley Conference JV Boys Golf Tournament on Friday at Pine Valley Golf Course.
Wausau West won the team title with a 376 with Kyle McKee winning meet medalist honors for the Warriors with an 80, nine shots ahead of Stevens Point’s Carter Gaede.
Stevens Point was second with a 397, D.C. Everest third with a 403, Marshfield had a 411, Wisconsin Rapids took fifth with a 416, and Merrill was sixth with a 487.
Nate Geiss of D.C. Everest was third with a 91, and Anderson tied Wisconsin Rapids’ Connor Jensen with 94s.
Reid Geger had a 103, Maxx Oertel shot a 106, and Ethan Lecker had a 108 to round out Marshfield’s scoring.
