OWEN – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic baseball team rolled to a 15-3 win over Owen-Withee on Tuesday.
The Dons scored multiple runs in each of the first four innings and finished off the game after five via the 10-run rule.
Brock Bennington hit a home run and drove in three, Emmitt Konieczny had three hits and scored three times, and Blake Jakobi had two hits and three RBIs to lead the Dons.
Columbus Catholic are now 12-8 overall and 7-4 in the Cloverbelt East, which was good enough for third place.
Columbus Catholic finishes its regular season Thursday at home against Thorp.
The Dons will play the winner of Pittsville and Alma Center Lincoln in a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal Tuesday, June 15, at Jack Hackman Field. Owen-Withee plays a D-4 regional quarterfinal at home against Loyal on Thursday.
