PARDEEVILLE – The Auburndale football team didn’t end the season the way it wanted, but it was a great season for the Apaches nontheless.

The playoff apperance was the first for Auburndale since 2005, and the first in the five-year head coaching career of coach Dean McFarlane.
After a 1-3 start, with losses to powerhouses Stratford, Chippewa Falls McDonell and Edgar, the Apaches rallied to win five straight games to reach the postseason.
