WAUSAU – Wausau East/West had the four top scores to run away with the victory at the season-opening Wausau Girls Golf Quadrangular on Friday at Trapp River Golf Course.
Wausau East/West finished with a team score of 366, with Marshfield taking second with a 436. D.C. Everest had a 517 and Stanley-Boyd a 547 to finish third and fourth.
Jess Nardi and Tally Schlindwein tied for first with 87s, Tess Brunner had a 92 and Alya Trollop had a 100 to grab the top four spots in the tournament for Wausau East/West.
Ellie Mechler had a 104, Brielle Lenz shot a 105, Lili Anaya had a 111, McKenzie Holm had a 116, and Sophie Lee had a 124 for Marshfield.
Marshfield jumps right back into action on Monday at the Tomah Invitational at Hiawatha Golf Course.
