Walker breaks school ace record as Columbus Catholic volleyball finishes 3-0 at Loyal Quad

LOYAL – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic volleyball team opened its 2021 slate by winning three matches at the Loyal Quadrangular on Tuesday at Loyal High School.

The Dons defeated Rib Lake 25-10, 25-9; Loyal 25-6, 25-11; and Osseo-Fairchild 25-13, 20-25, 15-13.

Dorci Walker had 32 kills and broke the Columbus Catholic school record with the 130rd ace of her career. Jenna Kibbel added 18 kills and 11 aces, and Izzy Hoglund had 21 digs and six aces for the Dons.

Columbus Catholic will compete at the two-day Menomonie Sprawl on Friday and Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
