SCHOFIELD – Marshfield won three singles and two doubles matches in straight sets to defeat D.C. Everest 5-2 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference dual on Thursday at D.C. Everest High School.
The Tigers remain unbeaten in conference play at 3-0 so far this fall. D.C. Everest is now 0-3.
Sydney Newmier at No. 1 singles, Sonia Dissanayaka at No. 3, Lucy Luedtke at No. 4, the No. 1 doubles team of Loryn Jakobi and Abigail Forst, and the No. 3 team of Danielle Minsaas and Sam Ridgway all won in straight sets for Marshfield.
Marshfield will compete at the New Richmond Quadrangular on Saturday.
