MARSHFIELD – Grant Olson scored in the 59th minute to push the Columbus Catholic soccer team to a 3-3 tie in a nonconference game against La Crosse Aquinas on Saturday at Griese Park.
Columbus jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Brandon Lang and Charlie Moore before Aquinas battled back.
The Blugolds ripped off three goals in a 10-minute span, two from Andrew Sutton and another from Henry Horstman that gave them a 3-2 lead nine minutes into the second half.
Olson scored unassisted at the 58:36 mark to even the score and neither team found the goal the rest of the way.
Lucas Kreklau had four saves in goal for the Dons, who are now 4-1-1 this season.
