STEVENS POINT – The Marshfield Middle School girls tennis team improved to 8-0-1 this season by winning one match and tying another at the Goerke Park Courts on Tuesday.
Marshfield defeated Ben Franklin/P.J. Jacobs 4-2 and tied St. Peter’s Middle School 5-5 in the triangular meet.
Playing for Marshfield Middle School on Tuesday were: Jasmine Buth, Rhyan Costa, Lexi Freese, Greta Frye, Lilly Griesbach, Maddie Kloos, Audrey Luedtke, Hannah Ridgway, Sophia Rosandich, Sara Sharma, Talia Soskos, Edyn Vechinski, Devin Weis, Amelia Wellens, Katie Winder, and Ameia Xolio-Temich.
Marshfield will return to Stevens Point for a triangular meet at Ben Franklin Junior High on Thursday when they have a rematch with Ben Franklin/P.J. Jacobs and also will take on James Williams Middle School of Rhinelander.
