MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield girls swim team won eight of 11 events and earned the team win at its home triangular meet on Tuesday against Onalaska/Holmen/Aquinas and Lakeland.
Faith Risa and Terra Risa each won two individual events and were part of two relay victories as well for Marshfield.
Terra Risa won the 100-yard freestyle in 59.27 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 1:05.67, and Faith Risa won the 200 individual medley in 2:21.90 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:13.42.
The two also teamed with Courtney Donahue and Skylar Onsager to win the 200 medley relay in 1:58.85. Terra Risa, along with Lauren Olszewski, Donahue and Brooke Begotka won the 200 freeestyle relay in 1:50.08, and Faith Risa, Olszewski, Begotka and Onsager won the 400 freestyle relay in 3:55.68.
Donahue earned Marshfield’s other win, taking first in the 100 butterfly in 1:03.45.
Marshfield hosts D.C. Everest in its Wisconsin Valley Conference and regular-season finale next Tuesday, Oct. 19.
