MILWAUKEE – The 40th annual WIAA State Boys Soccer Tournament was held Thursday, Nov. 4, through Saturday, Nov. 6, at Kohler Engines Stadium at Uhlein Soccer Park.

Milwaukee Marquette won its 17th state title, its second in a row, and its seventh in the last eight years by taking the Division 1 final with a 1-0 win over Hudson.

Oregon won the Division 2 title with a 2-1 victory over Whitefish Bay. Oregon’s title is its fourth in program history and first since 2018.

Shorewood earned the Division 3 title with a shootout victory over Green Bay Notre Dame. After a scoreless regulation game and overtime, Shorewood won the shootout 4-3. The championship is Shorewood’s third to go along with titles won in 1997 and 2019.

In Division 4, Sheboygan Christian/Sheboygan Lutheran also won a shootout after a scoreless regulation and overtime, 5-4 over Oostburg, to claim its first-ever state title.
