COLFAX – Three former Marshfield High School cross country runners competed at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletics Conference Cross Country Meet on Saturday at Whitetail Golf Course. The event was hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Sean Harrington finished 13th in the men’s race and No. 1 for UW-La Crosse, running in 25:37. The Eagles finished fifth.
Amy Pawelko took 44th for UW-La Crosse, finishing in 24:27, and Nikki Bruhn, who runs for UW-Stevens Point, finished 46th in 24:29.
Stevens Point was second and La Crosse was fourth in the women’s team standings.
Jason Garvens of UW-Platteville won the men’s race in 24:44.88 and Christina Cazzola of UW-Oshkosh was the women’s champion, winning in 22:15.96.
