GRANTON – The Spencer girls basketball team made quick work of Granton, holding the Bulldogs to just one made basket in the first half and cruised to a 53-9 victory in Cloverbelt Conference East Division action Tuesday at Granton High School.
Spencer led 25-3 at halftime and rolled from there as the Bulldogs (0-2 overall and Cloverbelt East) made just three baskets from the field in the game.
Heavyn Kind had 32 points to lead the way for Spencer (2-0 overall and Cloverbelt East).
Spencer hosts Athens for a nonconference game on Monday and Granton returns to action next Tuesday at Gilmanton.
