Columbus Catholic girls basketball cruises to home win over Granton

MARSHFIELD – Jenna Kibbel scored 21 points to lead the Columbus Catholic girls basketball team to a 67-21 win over Granton in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Tuesday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons held Granton to just nine made field goals in the win, and all nine players scored in the game for Columbus.

Columbus Catholic is now 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the Cloverbelt East heading into Friday’s home game against Owen-Withee. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com.

Alexis Pongratz scored eight points for Granton, which falls to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in the Cloverbelt East. Granton hosts Gilman on Friday.
