Auburndale girls basketball rips Nekoosa

NEKOOSA – The Auburndale girls basketball jumped on Nekoosa early and rolled to a 65-28 nonconference win Tuesday at Nekoosa High School.

Ashlyn Grimm scored all of her team-high 12 points in the first half for Auburndale, which led 39-12 after a dominating first half and cruised to the victory.

Annamarie Aue added 11 points for the Eagles, who improve to 10-3 this season.

Kiya Kolo had a game-high 17 points on the strength of five 3-pointers for Nekoosa (1-9).

Auburndale returns to Marawood Conference South Division action Thursday at Marathon.
