Auburndale boys basketball uses long ball to rout Rib Lake

RIB LAKE – Lucas Yeske drilled six 3-pointers and scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Auburndale boys basketball team to a 72-40 rout of Rib Lake in a Marawood Conference crossover game Thursday at Rib Lake High School.

Yeske was 6-for-7 from 3-point range as the Eagles made 13 of 27 in all from behind the arc in the victory.

Caden Weinfurter added four 3-pointers and 16 points, and Trayton Weber chipped in 10 points for Auburndale (7-7, 5-5 Marawood South).

Auburndale returns to action Tuesday at Stratford.
