PHILLIPS – The Stratford boys basketball pulled ahead early and went on to defeat Phillips 63-47 in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday at Phillips High School.

The win is the Tigers’ ninth in a row as they improve to 14-1 overall and 9-1 in the Marawood South.

Stratford led 35-23 at halftime and were able to control the game the rest of the way.

Camden Daul had 21 points to lead the way for Stratford.

Stratford hosts Auburndale for a Marawood South game on Tuesday. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com.
