WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Marshfield boys basketball team won its eighth-straight game as it pummeled Wisconsin Rapids 69-41 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference game Friday night at Lincoln High School.
Chase Hinson went 6-for-8 from 3-point range and scored a team-high 24 points for the Tigers, who improve to 8-3 overall and remain undefeated at 6-0 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.
Carson Kvernen added 12 points and six rebounds, and Marcus Neve had 12 points off the bench for Marshfield, which shot 56 percent from the field (27-for-48).
Marshfield plays a nonconference game at Madison Memorial on Saturday at 5 p.m. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com.
