AUBURNDALE – Gracie Krings made seven 3-pointers, six in the first half and finished with a game-high 25 points to lead the Auburndale girls basketball team to a 70-32 rout of Prentice in a Marawood Conference crossover game Thursday night at Auburndale High School.
Krings outscored Prentice by herself in the first half, 22-20, as Auburndale opened up a 40-20 lead by halftime.
Josie Ertl added 18 points in the win for the Eagles, who improve to 16-4 overall and 11-2 in the Marawood South.
Prentice falls to 1-17 overall and 1-2 in the Marawood North.
Auburndale returns to action Tuesday for a Marawood South game at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption. Both teams are 11-2 in conference play and tied for the lead in the Marawood South. The game begins at 7:15 p.m. and will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
