MARSHFIELD – Courtney Donahue tossed a complete-game three-hitter to lead the Marshfield softball team to a 4-1 win over Stevens Point in a Wisconsin Valley Conference clash on Tuesday at Madison Field.
Donahue struck out 11 and walked just one, giving up only three singles to a potent Stevens Point lineup.
Madalen Bornbach had an RBI double in the first inning to score Brooklyn Bohman to give the Tigers a quick 1-0 lead.
Marshfield added two more in the second as Shylah Brogan led off with a triple and scored on a single by Raina Manlick. Manlick scored on a groundout by Madison Voss to increase Marshfield’s lead to 3-0
