Stratford baseball cruises past Stanley-Boyd

STANLEY – Ten different Stratford scored at least one run as the Tigers rolled past Stanley-Boyd 14-3 in a nonconference baseball game Thursday at Stanley-Boyd High School.

Stratford had eight hits, with Henry Zaleski accounting for two of them, and took advantage of seven walks in the victory.

Brady Schmidt, Jackson Ormond, Dillon Kirsch and Jack Tubbs all had two RBI for the Tigers (4-1).

Braden Schueller earned the win, allowing three runs in four innings with five strikeouts.

Stanley-Boyd is now 1-3.

Stratford hosts Abbotsford/Colby for a nonconference game Friday at 4:45 p.m. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
