STRATFORD – Three Stratford pitchers combined on a two-hitter as the Tigers downed Abbotsford/Colby 8-1 in a nonconference baseball game at the Tiger Stadium Baseball Field on Friday.
Brady Schmidt earned the win, striking out three in four innings, and Henry Zaleski and Cam Daul finished off the victory for the Tigers, who are now 5-1 this season after posting their fifth-straight win.
John Seitz smacked a home run and scored twice, and Zaleski also drove in a run with a double for Stratford.
Stratford hosts Marathon for a Marawood Conference South Division game Tuesday at 4:45 p.m. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
Abbotsford/Colby (5-5) returns to action Monday with a nonconference game at Merrill at 4:30 p.m.
