Marshfield girls soccer shut out by Eau Claire North

MARSHFIELD – Eau Claire North scored three first-half goals and went on to defeat Marshfield 4-0 in a nonconference soccer game Friday at Heiting Community Stadium.

The Huskies scored on an own goal 3:24 into the game and Kate Grant added another score in the 19th minutes to give North (1-3) a quick 2-0 lead.

Ada Berg scored 10 minutes before halftime and Abby Lindall added a goal eight minutes into the second half to finish the scoring.

Marshfield was held to six shots on goal, all saved by North goalie Ella Peterson.

Ella Allar had two saves and Payton Bremer had one as they split time in goal for Marshfield, which falls to 4-4 after losing its third game in a row.

Marshfield will be back in action Monday when it hosts D.C. Everest for a Wisconsin Valley Conference game at 7 p.m. at Heiting Stadium. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
