Stratford baseball blanks Chequamegon

STRATFORD – Three Stratford pitchers combined on a two-hit shutout as the Tigers defeated Chequamegon 6-0 in a nonconference baseball game Friday at the Tiger Stadium Baseball Field.

Braeden Schueller struck out five while allowing two hits in four innings to earn the win, Dillon Kirsch struck out five in two innings of relief, and Jackson Ormond finished off the shutout with a scoreless seventh inning for the Tigers.

Cam Daul had two hits, including a double, and Kirsch drove in a pair of runs for Stratford, which has now won 12 games in a row to improve to 12-1 this season. Stratford scored all six of its runs in the third inning.

Stratford’s next game is Tuesday at Edgar.
