EDGAR – Edgar pitchers Jordan Bunkelman and Ashton Schuett limited Stratford to two runs and ended the Tigers’ 12-game winning streak with a 4-2 victory in a Marawood Conference South Division baseball game Tuesday at Edgar High School.
The team’s exchanged runs in the opening inning as Gavin Kirsch plated a run on a fielder’s choice for Stratford, and Edgar answered on an RBI sacrifice fly by Bunkelman.
Edgar pulled ahead for good in the fourth when Peyton Dahlke scored on an error.
Bunkelman had another sac fly and Ashton Schuett knocked in a run with a single in the fourth to extend the Wildcats’ lead to 4-1.

Everet Brehm had two of Edgar’s four hits and scored twice in the win.
