NEILLSVILLE – Bryce Erickson and Sam Hayes limited Spencer to just three hits to lead Neillsville to an 11-1 win over the Rockets in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball game Tuesday at Neillsville High School.

Erickson struck out five in four innings to earn the win and Hayes finished up with two shutout innings for the Warriors, who are now 3-6 overall and 3-5 in the Cloverbelt East.

Reed Knecht drove in Madden Prybylski, who had two of the Rockets’ three hits, to account for Spencer’s only run.

Neillsville busted open the game with a seven-run second inning, and added a pair of runs in the fifth and sixth innings to finish off the win via the 10-run rule.

Gavin Barth went 3-for-3 with two RBI, and Erickson, Austin Gross and Eric Moltzen all had two hits and two RBI for Neillsville.

Both teams return to action Friday. Neillsville will be at home against Greenwood and Spencer will be at Marshfield Columbus Catholic. Both games will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com starting at 5 p.m.
