ATHENS – Kody Lepak had a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning to push Athens past Spencer 3-2 in a nonconference baseball game Friday at Tucker Westfall Field.

Spencer led 2-0 on a fielder’s choice RBI by Kaiden Miller and a double steal in the third inning.

Athens responded with a run in the bottom of the frame and tied the game in the fourth with a run on a two-out error by Spencer.

The score remained tied until the seventh when Brooks Kraus reached on an error, stole second, moved to third on a groundout, and scored on Lepak’s single to centerfield.
