Marshfield senior first baseman Ryan Lindemann and junior pitcher Braxton Kurth were among the honorees on the 2022 All-Wisconsin Valley Conference Baseball Team.
Lindemann was named to the second team and Kurth was an honorable mention selection for the Tigers, who finished 2-10 in conference play this season.
Lindemann led Marshfield in hitting with a .343 average, which was tied for 10th in the conference. He had one home run, four RBI and four runs scored in the team’s conference games.
Kurth was 1-5 with a 3.89 earned run average, striking out 22 with only five walks in 36 innings pitched.
Stevens Point sophomore Noah Marschke was named Player of the Year after helping the Panthers to the conference title.
Marschke went 4-0 with a 0.73 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 28 2/3 innings pitched, while also batting .375 with five RBI.
