Marshfield senior pitcher Courtney Donahue was named to the second team of the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Large School all-state team.
In conference play, Donahue was 10-1 with a 1.23 earned run average and 93 strikeouts in 74 innings for Marshfield, which won its first outright Wisconsin Valley Conference championship since 1997. She also finished third in the conference in batting average (.476) and third in RBI (15), with five doubles and one home run as she was named Player of the Year in the WVC.
Stevens Point freshman Kaitlyn Klismith and senior Maddy Miklesh were first-team choices, and Wisconsin Rapids senior Megan Clary was also picked to the second team of the Large Schools (Division 1) all-state team.
