STEVENS POINT – The Marshfield Junior Legion baseball team erupted with 12 hits and its highest scoring game of the season in a 14-2 win over Hartland on Saturday afternoon at the Stevens Point Junior Legion Baseball Tournament at Bukolt Park.
Adam Gilbertson had three hits and an RBI, Cayden Leonhardt drove in three, and Zander Edmundson and Vance Kielman each had two hits for Marshfield (3-6).
Sloan Welch tossed a complete game for the Junior Devils, striking out 10 and allowing just two runs and three hits.
Marshfield plays its final game at the tournament on Sunday.
