HORTONVILLE – Keegan Fredrick scored in the 61st minute to lift the Marshfield boys soccer team to a 2-1 nonconference win over Hortonville on Tuesday at Hortonville High School.
Lukas Barth scored on a header off a crossing pass from Fredrick with less than three minutes to go before halftime to give Marshfield a 1-0 lead that held into the break.
Hortonville answered in the 50th minute to tie the game before Fredrick nailed home what proved to be the game-winner.
Marshfield will be back in action Thursday with another nonconference game at Pulaski.
