MARSHFIELD – Stratford jumped on Weyauwega-Fremont early and often, scoring seven touchdowns in the first half on its way to a 52-8 victory in a Central Wisconsin Conference Large Division football game Friday night at Beell Stadium.
Koehler Kilty ran for 170 yards and four touchdowns, three in the first half that helped the Tigers build a 45-8 lead.
Stratford racked up 372 yards on the ground as Conner Weigel, Gavin Leonahrdt and quarterback Braeden Schueller also added rushing scores.
Ashton Wrensch hauled in a 42-yard touchdown pass from Schueller for the Tigers’ other score.
Stratford, winners of five-straight games, is now 5-1-1 overall and 5-0 in the CWC Large. The Tigers play at Spencer/Columbus next Friday, Oct. 7, before finishing its season against Amherst at Marshfield High School on Oct. 14 to decide the conference title.
