PRENTICE – The Stratford girls basketball team won its second game in as many nights, downing Prentice 43-29 in a Marawood Conference crossover matchup Friday night at Prentice High School.
The Tigers led by six at halftime, then held Prentice to just eight points in the second half to win going away.
Stratford is now 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the Marawood South, while Prentice drops to 1-4 and 0-3 in the Marawood North.
Tessa Berg had 14 points, and Lauren Kraus chipped in 11 points and a whopping 20 rebounds in Stratford’s victory.
Stratford will host Marathon for a Marawood South game Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
