LA CROSSE – The Marshfield gymnastics team swept the varsity and JV titles at the La Crosse Quad on Tuesday.
The varsity team finished with 127.975 points, eight points ahead of second-place La Crosse.
Solenne Lonsdale won the uneven bars with a score of 8.475 and Ellie Jensen was first in the floor exercise with a score of 8.65 for Marshfield.
Phoebe Hernandez earned a pair second-place finishes for the Tigers, taking second in the vault (8.7) and the balance beam (8.15). Abby Pietsch also finished second in the floor exercise (8.425) for Marshfield.
The Marshfield JV team earned 111.55 points to win the team title. Karsyn Miller won the balance beam (7.85) and Regina Sennholz took first in the uneven bars (7.1) for the Tigers.
Marshfield returns to action Dec. 15 with its Wisconsin Valley Conference opening dual meet at Wisconsin Rapids.
