Marshfield boys hockey doubles up Oshkosh

MARSHFIELD – Tyler Reissmann scored twice, and Joey Cashmer had a goal and three assists as the Marshfield boys hockey team doubled up Oshkosh 6-3 in a nonconference game Thursday night at the Marshfield Area Ice Arena.

Marshfield outscored Oshkosh (1-4) 2-1 in each of the three periods to improve to 4-2 this season.

Tanner Shortt and Reissmann had goals in the first period, Reissmann and Cashmer scored in the second, and Owen Hoerneman and Noah Peterson closed out the scoring in the third for the Tigers.

Cole Halvorsen saved 32 shots in goal for Marshfield.

Marshfield will have a week off before playing a Wisconsin Valley Conference game at D.C. Everest on Thursday, Dec. 15.
