AUBURNDALE – Mason White Eagle was 8-for-10 from the floor and scored a game-high 17 points to help lift the Auburndale boys basketball team to a dominant 64-36 win over Phillips in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Auburndale High School.
The Eagles raced out to a 34-13 lead by halftime, making quick work of their opponent on their home court.
Alex Willfahrt added 11 points, and Lucas Yeske made three 3-pointers and scored 10 for Auburndale (4-1, 2-1 Marawood Conference South Division).
Wade Belan led Phillips (1-4, 0-3 Marawood North) with 13 points.
Auburndale will play at rival Stratford for a Marawood South game Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
