Marshfield boys basketball hammers Wausau West, wins seventh game in a row

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield boys basketball team extended its winning streak to seven with a 73-57 win over Wausau West on Friday night at Marshfield High School.

The Tigers are now 9-4 overall and remain undefeated at 5-0 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. West drops to 3-10 and 1-5 in conference play.

Luke LeMoine scored 20 points, Brooks Hinson added 17, and Braxton Kurth and Landon Lee each scored 13 for the Tigers.

Marshfield was 9-for-19 from 3-point range as Hinson and Kurth both connected on three each.

Marshfield will have a week off before playing a WVC game at Merrill on Friday, Jan. 20.
