SHEBOYGAN – The Marshfield boys swimming team had two runner-up finishes and placed second in the team standings on Saturday at the Redwing Invitational at Sheboygan South High School.
Shaun Hunter was second in the diving competition with a score of 354.30 and Simon Dagit took second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 57.21, losing by just 7/100th of a second for the Tigers’ top individual finishes.
Kyle Berres was third in the 50 freestyle (23.24), the 200 freestyle relay team of Dagit, Carson Klumb, Henry Hilbelink and Berres was third in 1:35.60, and Alik Martin placed third in diving (332.40) as well for Marshfield.
Sheboygan North won the team title with 490 points, with Marshfield taking second with 389 points.
Marshfield will compete in its final Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet at Horace Mann Middle School in Wausau against Wausau East on Thursday.
