STEVENS POINT – The Marshfield gymnastics team earned a pair of Great Northern Conference Large Division victories as it defeated Stevens Point 135.1-131.225 and Wisconsin Rapids 135.1-130.525 in a double dual on Monday at Stevens Point Area Senior High.
The Tigers (3-0 GNC) were taking on Stevens Point in a regularly-scheduled matchup and Wisconsin Rapids in a make-up meet that was cancelled due to a winter storm in December.
Ellie Jensen won all four events for Marshfield, taking first in the vault (8.9), uneven bars (8.6), balance beam (9.3) and floor exercise (8.95).
Marshfield returns to action Thursday, Jan. 26, at home against Ashland and Bloomer in a triangular event.
