AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale girls basketball team doubled up Rib Lake by halftime and cruised to an 81-28 victory in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Auburndale High School.
Ashlyn Grimm scored a career-high 32 points for the Eagles, making three 3-pointers and going 11-for-13 from the free throw line.
Auburndale pulled out to a 41-20 lead at halftime and held Rib Lake (2-10, 1-8 Marawood North) to just eight points in the second half to finish off the huge victory.
Annamarie Aue added 19 points and Josie Ertl had 12 as well for Auburndale (10-4, 6-3 Marawood South).
Auburndale will be back in action Monday at home for a nonconference game against Bonduel.
