MERRILL – Luke LeMoine and Brooks Hinson each scored 18 points to pace the Marshfield boys basketball team to a 65-46 win over Merrill in a Wisconsin Valley Conference matchup Friday night at Merrill High School.
The win is the Tigers’ eighth in a row as they improve to 10-4 overall and remain perfect at 6-0 in the WVC. Merrill drops to 5-7 and 2-4 in the conference.
Owen Hanson added nine points and freshman Chris Pohl made his varsity debut and chipped in eight points for Marshfield.
Tyson Glisch had 18 points and Bradyn Pieper scored 16 for Merrill.
Marshfield hosts Hudson for a nonconference game Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
