ANTIGO – Ellie Jensen won the balance beam competition and finished fourth in the all-around as the Marshfield gymnastics team took third place at the 10-team Julie Langseth Gymnastics Invitational on Saturday at Antigo High School.
Jensen won the balance beam with a score of 9.025, just ahead of teammate Kyra Huff, who was second with an 8.9.
Jensen also placed sixth in the floor exercise (8.55) and ninth in the uneven bars (8.1) to finish with an all-around score of 33.825. The all-around title was won by Kyla Krause of Medford/Colby with a score of 35.05.
Abby Pietsch was sixth in the all-around (33.075) for the Tigers. She placed fourth in the floor (8.7), fifth in the vault (8.5) and 10th in the uneven bars (8.05).
West Bend West won the team title with 133.775 total points, with Medford/Colby a close second at 133.275 and Marshfield third with 132.4.
Marshfield will host its home invitational next Saturday, Feb. 4.
