PRENTICE – The Auburndale boys basketball team had four players score in double figures and hit a season-high in points as it rolled to an 84-57 win over Prentice in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday night at Prentice High School.
Lucas Yeske scored 30 points, Alex Willfahrt added 20, Mason White Eagle chipped in 13, and Caden Weinfurter made four 3-pointers to finish with 12 for the Eagles.
Auburndale shot a sizzling 65 percent from the field (32-for-49) and was 9-for-13 from 3-point range as it surpassed the 80-point plateau for the first time this season.
The Eagles are now 16-3 overall and 10-3 in the Marawood South.
Layne Blomberg had four 3-pointers and a team-high 24 points for Prentice (9-8, 6-7 Marawood North).
Auburndale hosts Athens for another Marawood crossover game Thursday at 7:15 p.m. Athens (14-4, 11-2) has already clinched the Marawood North title.
