ABBOTSFORD – The Spencer/Columbus Catholic wrestling team finished seventh at the 2023 Cloverbelt Conference Wrestling Tournament on Saturday at Abbotsford High School.
Cadott won the title with 236 points, well ahead of second-place Eau Claire Regis/Altoona, which had 152 points. Spencer/Columbus was seventh with 87 points.
Spencer/Columbus had eight wrestlers finish in the top five in their respective weight classes.
Mikey Weiler had the Rockets’ top finish, taking third at 138 pounds.
Mason Wolf (126) and Mason Dieringer (182) each finished fourth, and Fletcher Post (106), Jaden Garneau (152), Chris Schmidt (170), Carson Kilty (195) and Daniel Miller (285) all took fifth for Spencer/Columbus.
