SHIOCTON – The Auburndale girls basketball team used a dominant second half to pull away and defeat Shiocton 68-49 in a nonconference matchup Monday at Shiocton High School.
The Eagles led 41-34 at halftime before holding Shiocton (10-12) to just 15 points in the second half to finish off the victory and improve to 15-8 this season.
Annamarie Aue scored 20 points and Ashlyn Grimm stroked in four 3-pointers to chip in 19 points in the win for Auburndale.
Auburndale finishes its regular-season and Marawood Conference South Division schedule Thursday at Edgar.
