MARSHFIELD – Columbus Catholic poured in 48 points in the first half to make quick work of Gilman, rolling to a 74-44 win in its Cloverbelt Conference East Division boys basketball finale Friday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Emmitt Konieczny had 17 points, Blake Jakobi added 14 and Cal Birkhauser scored 12 for the Dons, who are now 16-7 overall and finish 11-3 in the Cloverbelt East, tying Owen-Withee for second place.

Columbus Catholic will finish its regular season in the second-place game of the Cloverbelt Conference crossovers next Saturday, Feb. 25, against Fall Creek at Osseo-Fairchild.
