AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale boys basketball team held Loyal to 15 points in each half and cruised to a 65-30 nonconference win over Loyal on Tuesday night at Auburndale High School.
Auburndale raced out to a 39-15 lead by halftime and finished off the win, improving to 20-3 this season.
Lucas Yeske had 14 points and seven rebounds, Mason White Eagle added 13 points, and Alex Willfahrt chipped in 11 for Eagles, who saw 11 different players score in the victory.
Auburndale finishes its regular-season and Marawood Conference South Division schedule Thursday at Edgar. The Eagles will open the WIAA playoffs with a Division 4 regional semifinal at home March 3.
