KRONENWETTER – Auburndale blew open its Marawood Conference South Division opener with a 27-6 third-quarter advantage and went on to crush Northland Luthearn 62-26 on Thursday night at Northland Lutheran High School.
Liz Breu scored 15 potins and Kelly Tomfohrde had 13 points for the Apaches, who improve to 4-0 overall.
Northland Lutheran fall to 0-3 overall.
Auburndale led 26-17 at halftime before the big third quarter to pushed its lead to 53-23.
The Apaches host Edgar on Tuesday.
