NEILLSVILLE – Travis Pischel and Paul Selz each scored 12 points to lead the Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team to a convincing 46-22 win over Neillsville on Thursday night in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division matchup at Neillsville High School.
Columbus used six 3-pointers and strong defense to improve to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the Cloverbelt East. Neillsville falls to 1-2 overall and in the conference.
The Dons led 18-10 at halftime before erupting with a 21-5 third quarter to take control.
Columbus is off until Dec. 17 when it plays at first-place Augusta.
